Equipment Operational Training:

As an additional service, with every GEC system purchased you receive an instructional manual and online operational training. The extensive online training consists of a web-based session with a Power Point presentation verifying all of the components you received, preparation of all the necessary equipment and utilizing the scales with a simulated weighing tailored to your specific airframe.

On-site training includes similar information to online training, however, it contains a more hands-on approach with a representative of GEC to instruct and assist your staff.

Aircraft Weight & Balance: References FAA-H-8083-1A and/or Joint Service Technical Manual 1-1B-50:

This course takes the student from a basic understanding of aircraft weight and balance to advanced Weight and Balance principles and methods. Class discusses differences between Weight and Balance methods, the advantages/disadvantages of eachand maintaining accuracy and safety factors throughout the process. Class can be customized to any aircraft or helicopter type. Military Technical Orders or Type Certificate Data Sheets will be discussed in detail and will include required Commercial forms or DD Form 365 series.

Automated Aircraft Weight & Balance Systems Software (AWBS):

This course teaches the required AWBS software for both the Military and DoD contractors. This software automates the DD Form 365 series forms. The class progresses from initial set-up to Chart A, Form B, Chart C, Form F, Scheduler, Master Charts A and Aircraft Modifications. If the student utilizes an Automated Form F generator – the class will include instruction on its use.

A “Certificate of Training” is issued to each student after successful completion of the course.
